Antique flexible link steel door/floor mat; measuring approx. It is not maker marked but I believe that it was produced by Acme Steel Co. Out of Chicago, and that the tag is missing. I own several of these mats and some were marked, some were not. Dating to the 1890's and is in good used condition - it has surface rust and imperfections from use.

It can either be folded or rolled up when not in use; picked up for cleaning and laid back down. They do wear like iron and last forever - I have one that is used daily and love it.
